Random information, however maybe interesting?
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey I haven’t posted text in soooo long.
I just like pictures too much, and as cruel as it is they are usually of things I can’t have, do or afford. Brilliant.
Well to start with, I have made an etsy account and may start to sell things on it but I’m not too sure… I don’t think anybody else would appreciate my art work aha but yes if you have it my username is ‘Amyinwonderlandxx’ and I am a part of a few circles so add away so I can be part of yours too! Also, if you like to look at all kinds of different photographs like I do follow my instagram account, I love taking photos and uploading them to my instagram account! My username for that is also ‘Amyinwonderlandxx’ and finally follow me on Twitter… I’ll warn you now though I am outspoken sometimes but its usually just me joking about! @aiw_xx (Amy in Wonderland… suprise surprise).
Secondly I want to inform all my lovely followers about the day I have had. Today for college I wore my black Fred Perry polo from the Amy Winehouse winter collection, black Underground Creepers with black frilly ankle socks and black leather shorts from River Island… without tights. Now everybody was saying that I must be mad wearing shorts and no tights in the cold… So to all of you, how were you coping with the heat around 3:15pm in your jeans? As for me, I was fine throughout the whole day, quite content with my body heat actually. Hahahahahaha.
Third and finally, I went to a degree art exhibition in LJMU today oh my god it was amazing!!! The fashion sector and art and design sector was my favourite! The promotion design and interior design was very boring and I’m sorry for being disrespectful towards other people’s work because it’s not nice but I really didn’t enjoy it at all, sorrrrrrrry. The fine art on the other hand was okay, there was some things I appreciated and others I didn’t… some of it seemed like the students were trying too hard to fit in with modern art, but I work my arse off when it comes to my work and I’m sorry but with biscuits on the floor as a final piece I would not feel proud at all as it doesn’t show your talent in any way. Being artistic is such a great talent so it should be developed to the best ability and shown in as many ways as possible! There was a piece about discrimination of race, gender, wealth and age too which I really loved, and a piece of work which was clearly influenced by Tracy Emin… I won’t go in to much detail as those of you who aren’t artists and are female may become offended. I didn’t visit architecture.
I came across some amazing work today which made me even more amibitious to get where I want to be… My first choice of Uni is Hertfordshire, 20 mins away from London on the tube, and my second choice is Westminster, and I actually found out while taking out some artist research in class that Vivienne Westwood went there, and look at her now, what an amazing, successful woman from a working class background like me! To finish the day me and Billie-Jo took a trip to the Egg Café which is a vegan cafe in Liverpool hidden away from crowds off one of the side streets, it’s really nice. There is a photo of it on my Instagram, another excuse to check my profile out! Tomorrow I’m off for a coffee with my friend Dan, Get Back Colquitt bassist, off to collect my tickets for their gig Sunday night! Then Sunday day I have a street party to attend in my Aunty’s road for the Queen’s Jubilee… I hope its good! Anyway I’ll post some photos of my weekend, maybe, possibly, no, I’ll see.
Love you all and thanks for listening. Xoxo
